2014/11/13 Diary - Week 7

Event 1

      I went to Starbucks with my friend on yesterday, then I ate new flavor cake! That was a pound cake flavored Mocha coffee. It was very tasty, I liked it. Eating sweets is bad our teeth and unhealthy but I can't stop eat because I have a sweet tooth!

Event 2

      I watched a movie titled "Pride and Prejudice. " This story was written by British author Jane Austin. I watched this movie for the first time but it was so nice. The main character named Elizabeth is beautiful! I could learn about high-class people's life in 18th century, England. I want to read her another books.

Event 3

      I want to eat Mexican dish! I have been thinking this since last week. I love Mexican dishes, especially Taco! I have neve been to Mexico, so I want to go there some day. I'm hungry, but I'm getting fatter due to lack of exercise.

Event 4

      These days I have a lot of assignments, so I'm very busy. In addition, I have to go to driving school but I don't have enough time. I want to get driver's licence soon, then I can go anywhere! I want to buy a pink colored car.

Event 5

      I have a sad news! My friend who is an Englishman go back his home, Britain. He is my good friend and he stayed in Japan for five years. I'm crying, it's so heartbreaking! We can talk on SNS anytime but I will miss him. We have good-bye party next week. I'm going to give him some messa cards.

2014/11/02 Diary - Week 6

Event 1
        I went to Karaoke with my friend on yesterday. I really like Karaoke because I love singing a song! I usually sing English song, it's difficult for me but it's so fun. My voice is hoarse from a cold but I sang a lot. I think Karaoke is the best way to get rid of the stress.

Event 2
        There was a very interesting news last week. Osaka Mayor Toru Hashimoto met with the head of an anti-Korean group named "Zaitoku-kai." This group is holding a demonstration against some privileges of people who are Korean in Osaka, Japan. Their action is called "Hate Speech." Hate Speech is an action that looks down on a race or ethic group or religion, or discrimination is become actively in Osaka, so Hashimoto set up an opportunity for talk with the head of Zaitoku-kai. However, the talk is bogged down and they had a quawel. Hashimoto appealed to stop a hate speech but the head of Zaitoku-kai said "No." All people knows that hate speech is a bad action. However, Japanese government can't control hate speech because there is a law that freedom of speech in Japan, so it's a very difficult problem.

Event 3
        I have a happy news! My favorite Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu is became the face of the Xylitol gum in this season. Xylitol gum is a very popular gum in Japan and he became the face of the new flavor named "White." I usually eat another company's gum named "Xylish gum" because my favorite Japanese actor Shota Matsuda is the face of the Xylish gum! Oh my god. However, Yuzuru's new TV commercial is so cool, I have to buy this gum! I think, I have to eat Xylitol gum and Xylish gum alternately every day.

Event 4
        I had a very happy dream on last night! I had a dream about my favorite singer Austin Mahone! He is 18 years old singer from Texas, he is one year younger than me but he is handsome and gorgeous! I'm always been a big fan of his. All of his fans calls "Mahomies" so I am a Mahomie! Anyway I went to his fan meeting in my dream then I took a photo with him and he gave me a big hug and kiss on my cheek! Oh my god!! Finally he told me his adress and phone numbers. I was really happy but I became sad when I woke up from my dream.

Event 5
        I have a BREAKING NEWS! American famous and popular singer Taylor Swift will come to Japan! She is going to go to Japan for her new album named "1989" promot. In 1989 is a year of she was born. 1989 has released already! I liked her new album! My favorite song is "Shake it off." I like her music. and she will appear Japanese TV program! I'm looking forward to watching!

2014/10/26 - Diary Week 5

Event 1
        Japanese cabinet ministers Yuko Obuchi and Midori Matsushima resign as a minister from the cabinet. I don't know about politics very much but I like this two women, because they are smart and it is connect to good image of Abe's cabinet that there are some famel ministers. I think politicians always in trouble! However I think the approval rating of cabinet will be increase by this insident.

Event 2
        I have had such a busy week. I'm tired physically and mentally. Without a break I become more and more fatigued, so I need to rest. In addition it's hard for me to get up in the morning. I usually get up at 7 o'clock then my room's temperature is low! However I heard that low temperature at 4 o'clock! I don't know why before the sun rise is become cold? Do you know?

Event 3
        I can't get rid of my head cold. I have had a runny nose since last week. I want to get rid of my cold soon. My friend who is an American gave me a cold medicine. He still wearing short - sleeved shirts! He said that he doesn't feel cold at all. I am extremely sensitive to cold so that's incredible! When it become cold, I feel hungry and sleepy. I don't know why! It's like a prepare for hibernation, isn't it? It's so funny. Good night, see you next spring.

Event 4
        I have a happy news! The figure skating Grand Prix season has begun! The opening game named "Skate America" is being held in Illinois, USA. The short program held on yesterday and Japanese popular figure skater Tatsuki Machida rose to the top! However, Sochi Olympic bronze medalist, Denis Ten rose to 4th ranke. I think he has not yet at his best condition. Anyway the free program will be held on tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it!

Event 5
        I have a happy news again! Oh my god, Japanese popular figure skater Tatsuki Machida won the "Skating America" competition! I was really happy when I heard this news. His free program was fantastic, and his performance was no mistake! He is making a fine start for this season I think. However, my favorite skater Denis Ten couldn't get a medal unfortunately. I think he will get a medal another competition!

2014/10/17 Diary - Week 4
Event 1
    This Tuesday was a sad day for me and all of figure skating fans in the world! Japanese famous and popular amazing figure skater Daisuke Takahashi announced that he retire from the sports. This is so sad, because he is a talented figure skater and he had been leading the team of Japan for long time! I think his performance always charmed many people around the world and I can't imagine that I can't see him on official figure skating competition from now on. However his new life will starts so I want to say "Thank you" to him!
Event 2
    It has become considerably colder in the mornings and evenings these days! I don't want to get out of bed every morning. In addition, I have a touch of a cold this morning. Also I have had a runny nose since this morning. A cold is going around me, so I have to take care not to catch cold.
Event 3
    I went to Starbucks with my friend on yesterday.  We had a long talk, and I had a good time. She is older than me and we are in different university but we are good friends! She is majoring in pharmacy so she is very smart. In addition, she talk to me about her some experiments at university. It is very interesting, I always looking forward to it!
Event 4
    I learned just a bit of Chinese in class, today! My professor who is a Japanese always teach us English but he can speak Chinese too. Now I can say "I love you" and "I speak English"  in Chinese! I'm majoring in English at university so we usually don't get a chance that learn about another Asian country's language. It was very interesting!
Event 5
    I went to Hawaiian pancake restaurant with my friends. I like sweets and I love pancake so I have a sweet teeth! I ate a Macadamia nuts pancake with strawberry and a mountain of whipped cream. It was very delicious! Of course we took a photo of pancake. If you taking photo, then you shouldn't spend too much time taking photos because the mountain of whipped cream will collapse!

2014/10/10 Diary - Week 3

Event 1

I watched a movie with my friend at my university on yesterday. This movie's title is "Frozen." I watched this movie for the first time and this is very famous and popular Disney movie. I was drawn in by this movie's story and I really enjoyed this movie so I want to watch this movie again!

 

Event 2

I went to Joyfull. with my friend after finished school today. Joyfull is a very popular restaurant in Kumamoto I think. We ate parfait, it was very delicious! We had a long talk so we stayed longer than we should have.

 

Event 3

It was observed the total eclipse of the moon in Japan, today! I saw the moon and it was really beautiful. The total eclipse of the moon is phenomenon that when sun and earth and moon are in a straight line then, moon hid behind earth! The moon was looks like red copper color. I thought earth's natural power is very beautiful.

 

Event 4

The 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships is being held in China. Japan won a silver medal for team event at these championships. In addition, one Japanese leading player Kohei Uchimura won a gold medal for non-team tournament! He won the championship for five years running, and another Japanese player, Yusuke Tanaka won a bronze medal! They are gifted young players I think!

 

Event 5

I have recently become addicted to soy milk! It is very delicious and I like chocolate flavor soy milk especially. I think soy milk is low calorie and contain a lot of protein. However I can't drink plain soy milk, it's like peculiar flavor so I like sugared soy milk! One of my friends who is a foreign, and he don’t like soy milk. He always said to me that “Why you can drink soy milk?”

2014/09/30 Diary - Week 2

Event 1

I went to Starbucks with my friends after finished school today. Starbucks is my favorite cafe and this is a cafe that serves good coffee I think. I had a chocolate cake and soy latte. Soy latte is a latte with soy milk and this is my favorite drink. I and my friends talked a lot and had a nice gossip! Therefore, I had a good time.

Event 2

I watched a movie with my friend at my university on yesterday. The movie's title is "Kokuriko Zaka kara." This movie produced by very famous and popular Japanese movie company called "Jiburi." To be honest, I like Disney movie better than Jiburi movie. Therefore, I watched this movie for the first time in spite ofof this movie showed in 2011. However, this movie was really nice and I liked it.

Event 3

Figure Skating competition season will start on October. I can skating but I can't figure skating. However, I love watching figure skating and I love Japanese figure skaters. I think there are a lot of gifted figure skaters in Japan. My favorite skaters are Yuzuru Hanyu and Mao Asada! Also, the Finlandia Torophy competition will be held on next week. Yuzuru was supposed to take part in this competition, but he has injured his waist so he won’t able to take party in this competition. I want him to get well soon.

 Event 4

The Japanese volcano Mt. Ontake in Nagoya erupted violently these days, and I have been watching this news many times on TV program or newspaper. Japanese rescue team conducts a search and rescue activities, but it's not going well. This is natural disaster but it's so heartbreaking. I would like to condolences, love and light to all of disaster victims' family during this tragic time.

Event 5

I read a book titled “Brer Rabbit Down the Well.” I read this book for the first time and the contents of story were very funny. This book has two main characters. One is Brer Rabbit ant the other is Brer fox. They live in the forest. One day, the fox was chasing rabbit because the fox wants to eat this rabbit, and the rabbit was running away from fox. Then, the rabbit found old dark well and he hid into this well, but the fox found him! The rabbit said, “There are a lot of fishes in here.” It was a lie, but the fox believed this lie because this fox loves fish, so the fox fall into well and rabbit escaped. I think this rabbit is very clever! I enjoyed this book.

2014/09/26 Diary - Week 1

2014/09/26 Diary - Week 1










Event 1

   My summer vacation was over and second term started from last Friday. I have a lot of new classes, so I have had such a busy week and I’m very tired. But last night I talked to my friend who lives in Nagoya on the phone. It was really fun and my exhaustion disappeared. Her name is Haruka, and she is eighteen years old high school student. I like her because she always kind to me. She is younger than me but I think she is my good friend.

Event 2

   I went to my grandparents’ house on yesterday, and the small trellis of grape has been planted in their garden. So I harvested grapes with my grandparents. And this trellis of grape bears a lot of fruit every year, so we could harvest about twenty bunches of grapes. It was very exciting that spent a time with them. Now I have a lot of grapes at my home and I can eat grapes every day.

Event 3
    I have been eating so much “Xylish gum” these days, because the TV commercial of Xylish gum is so cool. Did you see this commercial? Do you know Shota Matuda? He is a very famous and popular actor in Japan, and he is appearing in this commercial of Xylish gum. He is so hot, why is he so hot? I played this commercial on YouTube about a hundred thousand times. Anyway, these days my mouth is literally minty, someone helps me this has got to stop.





Event 4
    This morning was a hard because I did wake-up call to my friend. Yesterday my friend said to me, “Call me tomorrow morning, and please wake me up.” So I called to her at 7:30 in this morning. But I couldn’t get through to her on the phone, because her phone’s power was dead. I called her many times. I was impatient because we had a first class, but finally she wake up. It was funny, I like my friend.

Event 5
    In last week, my favorite American singer came to Japan. Her name is Ariana Grande, and she is a very famous and popular singer in the world! I think she has a great talent as a singer. This was the fourth time that she visited Japan. She appeared many Japanese TV program. Now she went back to America, so I miss her but I think she come back to Japan again!
